This design reflects NAI’s dedication to architectural heritage, innovation, and research. The visual identity balances tradition and modernity, embodying the institute’s mission to shape the future of architecture while honoring its past.

The logo is inspired by the architectural elements of the Kaunas Central Post Office (designed by architect Feliksas Vizbaras), particularly its functionalism, modernism, and rhythmic national patterns. Curved strip windows and flowing interior elements—from the façade to the stair railings—are translated into the typography, subtly rounding one of the letter’s sharp corners. This approach maintains the clean, structured, and rhythmic nature of the design while reflecting modernist architecture.

By referencing Lithuania’s architectural heritage, the logo anchors NAI within its historical context while opening pathways for future innovations in the field.
